The Effect of Individual Habit in Speech Community Language
As we know, we are as the society live between many people. Everyday we communicate and build relationship with other person. It is a normal condition of us. Girls, boys, young, children and old live in many group or community. They are dividing depend on their habit, hobby, age, and job. The finding, they usually used a new word to describe the community. They create a language which is only people inside it, can understand. It is called by speech community.
A speech community is a group of speaker who share a language and patterns of language use. There are some opinion from the expert about speech community.

Labov (1972)
“participation in a set of shared norms; these norms maybe observed in overt types of evaluative behaviour, and by the uniformity of abstract patterns of variation which are invariant in respect to particular levels of usage”.

“ A social group which may be either monolingual or multilingual, held together by frequency of social interaction and set off from surrounding areas by weaknesses in the lines of communication”.
They used same language to send a message with the other inside the community easily. Individuals typically into several speech communities such as the family. The family is a small community in our life. Then, the children and teen in one class or one school and the employees in their office. It is some of community around us.
